Sports & play injuries

Active kids get hurt. The goal is to heal well — not just fast.

DRAFT — needs Dr. B review

Hockey, soccer, wrestling, gymnastics, or just an ambitious afternoon on the trampoline — active childhoods come with sprains, strains, and spills. Most heal on their own. Some don’t heal completely, and an injury that’s only 90% resolved becomes the weak link that keeps getting re-injured.

Dr. Badinger is certified in Sports Injury care. For young athletes, that means a careful assessment of the injury and the mechanics around it — because a twisted ankle changes how a kid runs, and how a kid runs changes what happens to their knees, hips, and spine.

Care plans for young athletes combine gentle, specific adjustments with rehabilitative exercise, with one goal: a full recovery that lets them get back to the sport they love — stronger and more balanced than before the injury.
