Good Questions

Frequently asked questions

The questions families actually ask — answered the way Dr. Badinger answers them in the office: plainly.

DRAFT — needs Dr. B review, esp. insurance answer

Is chiropractic care safe?

Yes — chiropractic is among the safest drug-free, non-invasive approaches to spine-related problems. Care here is specific and matched to you: the way we adjust a newborn (fingertip pressure, no more than checking a ripe tomato) is nothing like the way we adjust a linebacker.

Does an adjustment hurt? What's the popping sound?

Most adjustments are comfortable, and many patients look forward to them. The sound is simply a gas bubble releasing within the joint fluid — like opening a soda can. It isn’t bones cracking, and an adjustment can be effective with no sound at all.

Why would a child need chiropractic care?

Because childhood is hard on a spine — starting with birth itself, then falls, sports, backpacks, and screens. Kids seldom complain the way adults do, so problems can develop quietly. We check, gently, and tell you honestly what we find. More on care for little ones →

How long will care take?

It depends on what we find, how long it’s been there, and your goals — and you’ll know the honest answer on Decision Day before you commit to anything: what we found, the plan, and the investment. No open-ended mystery care.

Do I need a referral? Do you take my insurance?

No referral is needed to see a chiropractor in North Dakota. For insurance and payment questions, call us at (701) 258-7047 — we’ll give you a straight answer before you ever come in. [Dr. B to confirm insurance details]
