Birth is hard work — for both of you. Even a smooth delivery puts real pressure on a baby’s head, neck, and spine, and little ones can’t tell us where it hurts. Other than crying, they have no way to communicate that something isn’t right.
Dr. Badinger holds certification in Pediatrics & Pregnancy, and infant care here looks nothing like adult care: adjustments use no more pressure than you’d use to check a ripe tomato. Most babies sleep right through them.
